What does Hemolysis look like in product segments? |

Why does this blood bag appear pink (blush)? Is there anything wrong? |

This product is sterilized by electron beam irradiation. The faint pink color is induced by the sterilization and is perfectly normal. This color does not indicate hemolysis in any way! As seen below, the PVC material may range from slightly tinted to a blush color.
